Born and raised in Chicago, Andrew has lived on the North Side for 25 years. Academic interests include Enlgish literature (BA from Oberlin College 1985), public health (MPH from University of Illinois at Chicago 1993), and Traditional Chinese Medicine (course work at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine). He completed his training in massage therapy and structural integration at the Chicago College of Healing Arts in 1993. Continuing education over the last few years includes Thai Body Work, shamanic healing, medical Qigong and Tantra.
Andrew lives with his partner Stephen in Uptown. Their adopted son Silvano now lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Besides massage and body work, Andrew enjoys swimming, meditation, cooking, opera, and political activism. He also is conversant in Spanish.
